We’re looking for a confident and experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our dynamic consultancy team in Wellington. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on large-scale, high-impact projects that shape business and technology outcomes for our clients.

As a Senior BA, you’ll be the vital link between business needs and technical solutions. You’ll bring clarity to complexity, working closely with stakeholders to define requirements, guide delivery, and ensure solutions are fit-for-purpose and future-ready.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring clear understanding and alignment of requirements.
• Collaborate with project teams to break down deliverables into actionable activities and milestones.
• Lead the analysis and definition of configuration specifications and business technology requirements.
• Support the Solution Architect by clarifying business needs and contributing to solution design.
• Engage with customers to co-design best practices and system functionality guidelines.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of technical and business information.
• Support the full development lifecycle, from discovery through to delivery.
• Take ownership of all business analysis activities required to fulfil project deliverables.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders, fostering trust and collaboration across diverse teams.

About You

• Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst in a consultancy or client-facing environment.
• Hands on Scrum Master experience is required
• Ideally some experience in the Retail Sector
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Strong analytical thinking with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, complex project environments.
• Experience supporting solution architecture and development lifecycles.
• A proactive, collaborative approach with a focus on delivering value.
