Key Responsibilities

SAP Technical Architecture & Solution Design

• Lead the design and governance of SAP RISE solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and alignment with enterprise architecture principles.
• Architect integrated solutions across SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, IAS/IPS, and AWS-hosted components.
• Develop high‑level and detailed technical designs, ensuring consistency across environments and workstreams.
• Oversee build activities, environment design, and technical cutover planning.

Leadership & Delivery Excellence

• Provide inspirational leadership to SAP technical and Basis teams, fostering engineering excellence, collaboration, and accountability.
• Advise program leadership on technical risks, architecture decisions, and strategic trade-offs.
• Facilitate workshops with client stakeholders, architects, and delivery teams to align on design, integration patterns, and deployment models.
• Present technical designs and solution options to the program Design Authority and executive stakeholders.

SAP Platform Engineering & Basis Expertise

• Oversee the build, installation, configuration, and lifecycle management of SAP systems across on-premise, cloud, and RISE platforms.
• Ensure robust system performance, availability, and resilience across complex multi‑tier landscapes.
• Lead Basis operations, including upgrades, patches, transport management, user provisioning, diagnostics, and automation improvements.
• Ensure all technical deliverables adhere to high quality standards, best practices, and compliance requirements.

Quality, Standards & Governance

• Drive adherence to architectural principles, security standards, and design authority decisions.
• Champion structured documentation, including technical specifications, landscape diagrams, and operational guidelines.
• Conduct quality reviews across design, build, and testing phases to maintain excellence throughout the delivery lifecycle.

Your Profile

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of SAP technical experience, including Basis leadership roles across complex landscapes.
• Proven experience delivering on RISE with SAP programs and large‑scale S/4HANA transformations.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of SAP BTP, IAS/IPS, and integration between cloud and on-premise systems.
• Deep experience in designing and running SAP systems on AWS (or similar hyperscale environments).
• Demonstrated ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams in a consulting or large-program environment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership.
• Experience presenting to Design Boards, Architecture Forums, and Steering Committees.
• Ability to produce high‑quality technical documentation and solution designs.

Desirable Certifications

• RISE with SAP (PCE) Certification – highly regarded.
• AWS Solutions Architect Certification – desirable.
• SAP Basis, SAP BTP, or hyperscaler cloud certifications.
