Your Profile

We are seeking an experienced Puppet Engineer with strong expertise in automation, configuration management, and infrastructure as code (IaC) within the Banking and Payments domain. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the bank's strategic technology initiatives by designing, implementing, and managing Puppet-based automation solutions while collaborating with business and technology stakeholders.

 

  • Design, develop, implement, and maintain Puppet modules, manifests, and code repositories.
  • Automate server provisioning, configuration management, patching, and compliance activities.
  • Ensure infrastructure consistency, scalability, and reliability across environments.
  • Maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices and standards.
  • Integrate Puppet with CI/CD pipelines and enterprise tools
  • ontribute to solution architecture and technical design activities.
  • Translate business and technical requirements into scalable infrastructure solutions.
  • Develop detailed technical designs and deployment strategies.
  • Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture principles and banking technology standards.

Your Role

  • Strong hands-on experience with Puppet Enterprise/Open Source Puppet.
  • Proven experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation engineering.
  • Strong understanding of Linux and/or Windows server administration.
  • Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
  • Solid knowledge of configuration management and infrastructure automation.
  • Experience in solution architecture and technical design.
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience working within Banking, Financial Services, or Payments organizations.
  • Understanding of banking technology environments, regulatory requirements, and operational controls.

 This position is covered by the Professional Employees Award. Remuneration for this role is structured in accordance with this award, with classification level and salary determined based on the successful candidate's experience and qualifications.
