Your Role
As a Functional Consultant, you will be responsible for designing, configuring, and optimizing MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) solutions to meet client requirements and enhance manufacturing operations. This role requires extensive experience in MES systems, a deep understanding of manufacturing processes, and the ability to lead and mentor a team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successful project delivery and a strategic mindset for aligning MES solutions with business goals.
This is a 3-month Fixed Term Contract.
You will play a key role in:
- MES Design and Configuration: Designing MES solutions including process steps, flows, products, resources, recipes, checklists, and documents.
- Project Leadership: Managing MES implementation projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with scope.
- Client Consulting: Acting as a primary consultant, advising clients on MES functionalities and process improvements.
- Requirements Gathering: Translating business needs into technical MES solutions.
- System Optimization: Enhancing manufacturing processes, improving efficiency, and ensuring scalability.
- Performance Monitoring: Assessing system performance and resolving bottlenecks.
- Testing and Validation: Overseeing MES testing to meet quality standards.
- Documentation and Training: Creating user guides and delivering training programs.
- Team Mentoring: Supporting and guiding MES modelers and developers.
- Continuous Improvement: Staying updated with industry trends and recommending system enhancements.
Your Profile
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Experience: 8–12 years in MES systems, preferably Critical Manufacturing (CM); 3+ years hands-on MES modeling or implementation.
- Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of manufacturing processes including production and assembly.
- Project Management: Proven experience leading complex MES implementations.
- MES design and configuration expertise
- Knowledge of SDLC and agile methodologies
- Familiarity with SQL Server
- Programming knowledge (C#, JavaScript, HTML) is a plus
- Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to mentor and lead teams
- Capable of managing multiple projects and stakeholders
- Business logic extension.
- Experience in unit testing frameworks.
