EBS Technical Developer

Your role

We are looking for a certified Oracle E-Business Suite Technical Consultant, with a strong background and understanding of Oracle E-Business Suite technical components and functional flows as well to join a high performing team.

  In this role you will play a key role in:   

• Develop detailed technical specifications based on business requirements and functional design documents.
• Design, develop, test, and document Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) technical solutions, customizations, and integrations.
• Ensure compliance with the client's established development methodologies, standards, and best practices for Oracle EBS development.
• Perform technical configuration, development, and implementation activities across Oracle EBS modules in Finance or Supply Chain.
• Conduct impact assessments for proposed code changes, evaluating dependencies on existing configurations and CEMLIs, resolving conflicts, and validating solution designs prior to development.
• Prepare deployment and release documentation, support migration activities, and assist with production deployments as required.
• Execute unit testing, develop automated test cases where appropriate, and ensure high-quality deliverables through comprehensive validation.
• Create and maintain clear, structured, and sustainable technical documentation for code changes and solution enhancements.
• Collaborate with functional consultants, business analysts, and project stakeholders to clarify requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Support System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by developing test scripts, resolving defects, and providing technical assistance.
• Conduct peer reviews of development deliverables to ensure code quality, adherence to standards, and knowledge sharing across the team.
• Recommend innovative and efficient technical solutions to enhance existing systems, processes, and application performance.
• Provide post-deployment support, including production go-live activities, hyper-care support, issue resolution, and transition of solutions to the support organization.

Your profile:

• For this role, candidate should be an AU Citizen.
• Demonstrable team spirit: a willingness to collaborate, learn and teach others
• Hands on experience of working with Oracle ERP
• Stays relevant by maintaining knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite and ERP Cloud architecture, design, processes and practices
• Good to have skills- Oracle Fusion
• One or more relevant Oracle E-Business Suite certifications are strongly desired
• Provide technical advice and leadership
• Manage internal ticketing and support systems
• Provide regular and clear communication to stakeholders

This position is covered by the Professional Employees Award. Remuneration for this role is structured in accordance with this award, with classification level and salary determined based on the successful candidate's experience and qualifications.
