Consultant, Business Technology

Your Role

As a Business Technology Consultant you will help our clients understand the impact of digital transformation and to advise them when developing their new digitally enabled business models and capabilities. With this impact understood, you will be delivering digitally enabled business outcomes using your skills in strategy development, business analysis, agile delivery, technology transformation and organisation design. This includes the development and implementation of IT strategy, platform strategy, and IT operating models. It also involves designing and architecting technology solutions to meet business needs, driving collaborative selling and business development efforts and fostering people development and team growth.

Positions available in Sydney, Adelaide and Melbourne

We’re looking for consultants with strong Technical Business Analysis and technology strategy capabilities to help clients navigate digital transformation and deliver impactful, technology-enabled outcomes.

In this role, you’ll work closely with senior stakeholders and delivery teams, bridging business needs with technical solutions while shaping strategy and leading transformation initiatives.

What you’ll do

• Partner with CIOs, senior leaders, and stakeholders to define technology strategy and roadmaps
• Lead and support digital and technology transformation initiatives
• Elicit and document business and technical requirements (user stories, process flows)
• Work across APIs, integrations, and system implementations
• Develop business cases and strategic recommendations
• Support platform, vendor, and solution selection
• Design and contribute to enterprise and cloud-based solutions
• Drive Agile delivery, working closely with product owners and engineers
• Facilitate workshops to align business and technical teams
• Ensure solutions are delivered in line with business needs and architecture

Your Profile

You’ll bring experience driving business and operational transformation through technology. Key skills include:

• 2+ years’ experience as a Technical Business Analyst, Technology Consultant, or similar
• Degree in IT, Business, Computer Science, or related field
• Strong experience in:
• Requirements gathering & stakeholder management
• APIs / integrations / system implementations
• Agile / Scrum delivery environments
• Data analysis (SQL or similar exposure preferred)
• Understanding of IT strategy, platforms, and operating models
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work across business + technical teams
• Interest in emerging tech (Cloud, GenAI, Automation)

Nice to have

• Experience in cloud (AWS/Azure), DevOps, or architecture
• Exposure to digital transformation programs or consulting environments
• IT cost optimisation or M&A tech exposure
