Physical Security Coordinator (12-Month Contract)

Your role

The Security Coordinator is an operational role supporting the Head of Security in implementing and maintaining physical security measures in accordance with Capgemini’s global security policies, European directives, and local Nordic requirements. This role is essential for ensuring that security procedures are followed on the ground, that incidents are managed effectively, and that compliance is maintained with customer requirements, ISO standards, NIS2 directive, GDPR, and local laws. The scope includes all Nordic offices and requires travel.

In this position you will play a key role in:

• Ensuring site-level risk management and compliance with ISO27001, GDPR, and local legal requirements, including audits and assessments. 
• Overseeing security systems, access controls, and incident reporting, while maintaining operational readiness and adherence to established procedures. 
• Supporting planning and documentation of security-related projects, including seamless handover to Workplace Management. 
• Coordinating vendors and on-site resources for protective services, while fostering a culture of security awareness. 
• Tracking security-related expenses and assisting with budgeting and procurement activities.

Your profile

• 2-3 years of full-time work life experience. 
• Knowledge of physical security standards, compliance, and legal frameworks.
• Experience in conducting audits and risk assessments in the Nordics is beneficial. 
• Experience with security systems and operations, such as alarm systems, incident management and familiarity with emergency preparedness protocols is beneficial. 
• Structured with a commitment to upholding professional ethics and Group-wide standards.
• Skilled in stakeholder communication and relationship-building.
