Your role
As a Guidewire Engineer you will be involved in configuring and developing Guidewire solutions across PolicyCenter and ClaimCenter, supporting insurance clients with scalable platform implementations while contributing technical expertise across workstreams and client delivery. You will work in a technology-driven environment, at the heart of insurance transformation, where modern digital solutions, automation and AI are increasingly shaping how insurance organizations improve efficiency, customer experience and business value.
In this position you will play a key role in:
- Developing and configuring Guidewire applications to deliver scalable insurance solutions.
- Translating business requirements into clear technical solutions together with business analysts and stakeholders.
- Collaborating with technical leads, project managers and delivery teams to ensure smooth implementation.
- Troubleshooting production issues, performing root cause analysis and resolving technical challenges.
- Supporting release activities, code merges and testing to maintain high-quality delivery.
Your profile
- Guidewire configuration experience, especially in PolicyCenter and ClaimCenter; BillingCenter is a plus.
- Insurance domain knowledge, preferably within Property & Casualty.
- Experience with SQL, databases and admin data loading.
- Agile/Scrum experience; CSM certification is beneficial.
- Understanding of product design, policy transactions, underwriting rules, authority limits, financials, LOB configuration and typelists.
- Business-oriented, analytical and curious, with an interest in AI and automation in insurance.
- Proficiency in Swedish is considered beneficial.
