Your Role
We are looking for an engagement manager that will be responsible for end-to-end delivery of mechanical/electrical engineering projects within the automotive domain. This role ensures seamless execution of projects in alignment with client expectations while managing cross-functional teams and stakeholders, while supporting business growth efforts. As Engagement Manager you will be accountable for client engagement and client satisfaction on a day-to-day basis including scope, time, budget, and quality.
In this role you will play a key role in:
• Being responsible for building and strengthening client-facing relationships to drive long-term engagement.
• Ensuring compliance with engagement delivery requirements (contracted scope, time, budget and quality)
• Managing the engagement strategy, Tracking and managing all engagement metrics, providing regular reporting on engagement performance
• Continuously bring value-adding proposals to the customer by leveraging your experience in different delivery models and ways of working.
• Engaging and networking with our global Capgemini organisation to ensure the customer is aware of and has access to all our offerings.
• Managing complex delivery project setups Problem solving skills & Crisis management skills
Your Profile
• Extensive experience in the Automotive Industry with a background in mechanical and/or electrical engineering, preferably within areas such as vehicle systems, powertrain, chassis, body, E/E architecture, or mechatronic systems
• Good understanding of financial management and reporting
• Proven track record in operational management and in project delivery - Background in managing outcome-based delivery projects to customer.
• Strong understanding of automotive product development, including mechanical and electrical design processes, validation, industrialization, and lifecycle management
• Project management certification is a plus
