YOUR ROLE
We are now looking for an engaged Data Modeller with experience in the financial sector. In this role, you will work across multiple solutions and technologies within the team's scope and be responsible for data modeling and data architecture solutions.
Additionally, you will:
- Create and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models for databases and data warehouses.
- Optimize data structures for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Work closely with business analysts, data architects, and software developers to understand data needs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for data-related projects.
- Ensure data models align with organizational standards and governance policies.
- Develop and enforce data modeling best practices and standards.
YOUR PROFILE
To be successful in this role, we see that you have approximately 5+ years of experience in data modeling with a background in the financial sector. You are proficient in gathering and analyzing requirements, creating conceptual, logical, and physical data models, and optimizing data structures using tools like Erwin, IBM Data Architect (or similar). You should also be familiar with ETL processes, data warehousing, and data lakes.
Additionally, we value:
- A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in information technology or computer science
- Previous consulting experience
- Excellent communication skills, fluent in English
- A solid understanding of data governance frameworks and best practices
- Familiarity with big data and relational database systems
