Application Maintenance Engineer - BMC Remedy

Your role 

We are looking for an experienced Application Maintenance engineer to work on BMC remedy software to handle Trouble Ticketing and Work Order System. This system supports B2B, B2C, and B2O Customer Interactions (CI) and is integral to Service Assurance processes, handling Incident, Change, Work Order, and Problem Management. The role involves developing and maintaining applications that ensure seamless operations for CSP.
 

In this role you will play a key role in: 

  • Develop and maintain modules for Incident, Change, Work Order, and Problem Management within Tiksu. Provide production support and troubleshoot issues promptly.
  • Implement and customise workflows in BMC Remedy for ticketing and service assurance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with national security requirements.
  • Optimise system performance and ensure high availability for critical customer operations. Participate in requirement analysis, design, coding, testing, and deployment activities.

Your profile  

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Experienced in Java (core and enterprise-level development) and BMC Remedy.
  • 5+ years of experience in application development within Telco OSS/BSS systems.
  • Experience working in Linux (RHEL preferred) and databases such as PostgreSQL.
  • Strong understanding of Telco OSS processes and Service Assurance workflows.
  • Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written. 

This position requires Swedish citizenship and successful completion of a security clearance in accordance with the Security Protection Act.
