Project Manager - Supply Chain

Your Role

We are seeking a high‑caliber Project Manager - Supply Chain to join a newly formed Project Management Office within Stevenage. This role is critical to strengthening project management discipline, governance, and delivery control across the Digital Payloads portfolio.

The Project Manager will work alongside project and engineering teams to embed best‑practice project management, improving control of scope, schedule, risk, and change. The role requires confidence and independence to challenge delivery assumptions, ensure structured decision‑making, and prevent unmanaged change from eroding delivery commitments.

This is a non‑technical PM role: strong project management capability is essential.

Your Profile

  • Strong background in Project Management or PMO roles
  • Demonstrated experience in:
    • Schedule development and maintenance
    • Risk and opportunity management
    • Stakeholder management across technical and non‑technical teams
    • Governance, reporting, and project controls
  • Confidence to challenge change requests and delivery assumptions constructively
  • Experience operating in complex, multi‑stakeholder environments (e.g. engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, digital, or defence/aerospace)
  • High level of organisation, structure, and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills – able to influence without authority
