Test Manager (SIT)

Job Description

  • Define SIT test strategy, scope, approach, timelines, and resourcing
  • Prepare and maintain SIT test plans, entry/exit criteria, and schedules
  • Manage SIT phases including planning, execution, defect management, and sign off
  • Ensure test coverage across integrated systems, interfaces, and end to end workflows
  • Lead and coordinate SIT execution across multiple teams and vendors
  • Validate integrated functionality across upstream and downstream systems
  • Oversee test case design, review, and execution for system integrations
  • Manage test data requirements and environment readiness
  • Ensure adherence to agreed testing standards and processes
  • Oversee defect triage, prioritization, and resolution
  • Track SIT defects across multiple systems and drive closure
  • Identify testing risks, dependencies, and integration issues early
  • Provide mitigation plans and escalate critical issues when required
  • Act as the primary point of contact for SIT status and governance
  • Provide daily/weekly SIT status reports and test metrics
  • Collaborate with development, business, UAT, and release teams
  • Support SIT sign off and handover to UAT or next testing phase

Job Requirements

  • Test Manager with 9 to 12 years of experience.
  • Engage with business stakeholders, to understand the business requirements and convert it into technical requirements.
  • Should have IT Project Management experience
  • Must have Project Management experience in handling Banking domain projects
  • Desired to have experience in Mainframe functional and/or automation testing. Good experience in Risk Management, Project Administration / Documentation, Project Planning & Budgeting / Costing
  • English proficiency – capacity to present, discuss and explain issues coherently and logically both in writing and verbally
  •  Determination and focus to drive projects through to implementation
  • Strong planning and organizing skills
  •  Should be a good team player, self-motivated and able to work on own initiative
  • Ability to cope in a technically complex and fast-changing environment
  • Ability to balance conflicting and changing demands through prioritization and a pragmatic approach
  • Clear decision-making ability with the facility to judge complex situations
