This is a 6-month contract position to provide maternity leave coverage.
Responsibilities
Project Management
- Coordinate and support AI and cloud-related projects from initiation through implementation and completion.
- Monitor and track project milestones, deliverables, timelines, risks, issues, and dependencies to ensure successful project execution.
- Facilitate project meetings, workshops, and discussions with clients, business stakeholders, technical teams, and vendors.
- Ensure timely tracking, communication, and follow-up of project action items and decisions.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, status reports, presentations, meeting minutes, and management updates.
- Support project governance activities by providing accurate reporting and highlighting project risks or challenges.
Business Analysis
- Gather, analyse, and document business requirements, functional specifications, process flows, and user stories.
- Work with stakeholders to understand business objectives and translate requirements into clear and actionable deliverables for technical teams.
- Coordinate requirement clarification sessions and support solution design discussions.
- Assist in evaluating business processes and identifying opportunities for improvement through technology solutions.
Cloud & AI Technology Support
- Apply a working understanding of cloud technologies, particularly AWS services and architecture, to support project discussions and implementation activities.
- Collaborate with technical teams to understand cloud-based solution designs, architecture considerations, and integration requirements.
- Support initiatives involving generative AI technologies, including Large Language Models (LLMs), AI agentic platforms, and enterprise AI solutions.
- Contribute to the assessment of cloud and AI use cases, including business value, operational considerations, and implementation requirements.
- Stay informed of emerging AI and cloud technologies, industry trends, and best practices to support ongoing innovation initiatives.
Stakeholder & Vendor Management
- Act as the key liaison between clients, internal teams, and external vendors to ensure project objectives, timelines, and deliverables are aligned.
- Facilitate communication between business and technical stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate technical discussions, requirement reviews, and project updates with relevant stakeholders.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and support issue resolution to maintain project momentum.
- Foster effective collaboration across cross-functional teams and external partners.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in business analysis, project coordination, project management, technology consulting, or related roles.
- Experience supporting technology, cloud, digital transformation, data, or AI-related projects.
- Knowledge of cloud computing concepts and AWS services and architecture.
- Familiarity with generative AI technologies, AI agents, Large Language Models (LLMs), and related AI platforms such as Claude or similar solutions.
- Experience gathering, analysing, and documenting business and functional requirements.
- Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organisational, and documentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliverables in a dynamic project environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Teams.
