Responsibilities

  • Work as part of a Scrum/Agile team to design, develop, maintain and enhance web‑based applications.
  • Collaborate with the Product Owner and technical leads to understand user journeys, system requirements and the product roadmap.
  • Take ownership of the full software development life cycle, including:
    • Technical, solution and UI/UX design
    • Writing maintainable, secure and efficient code
    • Component, integration and automated testing
    • Maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitLab
    • Supporting post‑release maintenance, optimisation and feature enhancements
  • Develop full stack applications using latest industry adopted technologies and frameworks
  • Create and update user guides, internal documentation and technical specifications.
  • Participate in peer code reviews to uphold high standards of code quality, reliability and system performance.
  • Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams—including design, QA, data and systems engineering—to deliver robust, high‑quality solutions.
  • Contribute to innovation by proposing ideas and technical improvements that enhance efficiency, operability and performance.
  • Deploy, operate and monitor applications within a Kubernetes environment.
  • Apply Agile practices consistently and use JIRA for sprint planning, task tracking and workflow management.
  • Support development work for solutions related to radar, aviation, defence and security technologies where relevant.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience in Microservices application with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Strong proficiency in Java, Python, NodeJS, or similar backend frameworks.
  • Solid experience with React.js for frontend development.
  • Strong SQL skills for database design, optimisation and querying (e.g., MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
  • Hands‑on experience with GitLab for source code management, CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps workflows.
  • Practical experience using Agile methodologies and JIRA for task and sprint management.
  • Strong understanding of RESTful API design and implementation.
  • Familiarity with Figma for UI/UX collaboration is a plus.
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks and tools.
  • Knowledge of secure software development practices for web and cloud environments.
  • Experience or interest in radar systems, aviation technologies, defence platforms, security solutions or related domains is advantageous.
