About the role
We are seeking a Salesforce Developer to join our team in delivering impactful, end‑to‑end solutions with Salesforce as the core platform. You will be involved in configuration and customisation work, development activities, unit testing, deployments, and supporting SIT, UAT and training activities. The role may also involve working with relevant complementary technologies (e.g. AWS).
Responsibilities
Project Delivery
- Work with architects, functional consultants and developers to deliver customer value using Salesforce as the core platform.
- Participate actively in all phases of the project lifecycle, from planning to deployment and support.
- Track progress against deadlines, flag risks, and communicate effectively within the project team.
Stakeholder Engagement & Requirements Gathering
- Facilitate discussions with business users and stakeholders to clarify needs, processes, and desired outcomes.
- Document requirements and findings in artefacts such as backlog items, requirement specifications, process flows, and meeting notes.
- Communicate technical constraints and work with stakeholders to determine feasible alternatives.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships to ensure consistent alignment.
Solution Design & Documentation
- Write clear and concise user stories, and design sample process flows to illustrate to-be solutions.
- Propose alternative approaches and collaborate with team members to evaluate different solution options.
- Work with seniors to define functional and technical specifications for functionalities based on requirements.
- Create, update, and maintain relevant project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Salesforce Development & Configuration
- Configure/code Salesforce functionalities and develop custom UI based on user stories and specifications, adhering to established standards.
- Commit own configurations and developments to the deployment pipeline, following the deployment and review process.
Testing & Quality Assurance
- Ensure quality through thorough unit testing, debugging, and validation of your solution implementation.
- Support resolution of defects across QA and UAT cycles.
Training & Enablement
- Provide inputs to training content designers and clarify solution features as needed.
- Provide support in training sessions.
Data Migration Support
- Support data migration activities such as template creation, field mapping clarifications, data validation, and data patching when required.
Requirements
Must have skills and experience

Knowledge of Java, OOP, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

Understanding of the Salesforce platform and automation tools, and the ability to leverage them effectively.

Ability to meet timelines for assigned work.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Good to have

Salesforce certifications such as OmniStudio Developer/Consultant, Platform Developer II, JavaScript Developer, Public Sector Solutions.

Understanding of Salesforce technical requirements, system configuration, and development (Apex, LWC/OmniScript), as well as deployment processes.

Prior experience or familiarity with public sector processes.

Experience with CI/CD tools, release management and integrations.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
