Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end design and implementation of enterprise-grade digital experiences, integrating Sitecore XM Cloud for content delivery with Sitecore Order Cloud for complex B2B/B2C commerce logic.
• Headless Development: Implement and enhanced modern digital experiences by connecting Next.js (v14/15+) frontends to Sitecore XM Cloud using JSS, GraphQL, and TypeScript.
• Component Engineering: Design and implement high-quality, reusable components and templates that align with enterprise architecture standards.
• Commerce Logic Execution: Implement complex commerce features within OrderCloud, such as custom pricing, inventory logic, and transactional workflows.
• Performance Optimization: Own the implementation of modern rendering strategies like SSG (Static Site Generation) and ISR (Incremental Static Regeneration) to meet high Google PageSpeed benchmarks. Also experience on writing the performance optimised code.
• DevOps & Observability: Manage CI/CD pipelines (Vercel, Azure DevOps) and build in logging, monitoring, and proactive alerting from day one. Experience with Vercel deployments
• Mentorship & Quality: Conduct thorough code reviews and provide technical guidance to junior developers to ensure code adheres to quality and security standards. 
• Sitecore other components: Conduct understanding and experience of Sitecore components like CDP, analytics, Content hub, sitecore search

Experience

• Experience: Typically 5+ years of .NET/C#/sitecore web development and 2-3 years of production experience specifically on Sitecore XM Cloud.
• Primary Languages: Expert proficiency in TypeScript, React, and GraphQL.
• Platform Mastery: Deep knowledge of Sitecore Headless Services (JSS), Experience Edge, and SXA.
• Hosting: Demonstrated success with Vercel deployments and cloud-native development patterns.
• Certifications: Certified developer for XM cloud developer or Sitecore AI developer.
