Job Description

The Senior Network Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation, integration, and support of network solutions for Air Traffic Management (ATM) systems, with an initial focus on the LORADS-III program. This role plays a key technical and leadership function in delivering secure, resilient, and mission-critical network architectures, ensuring successful project execution, system integration, and customer satisfaction. The position requires strong expertise in network design, infrastructure engineering, stakeholder management, and team leadership within complex, real-time operational environments.

Job Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, configure, test, and support network solutions for ATM systems and related projects.
  • Develop and maintain network architecture documentation, solution designs, Bills of Materials (BOM), interface definitions, test procedures, and integration artefacts.
  • Configure, validate, and deploy network infrastructure in factory environments and customer sites, ensuring successful handover to software integration and operations teams.
  • Support system upgrades, configuration changes, troubleshooting, and operational readiness activities.
  • Provide technical expertise in network architecture, cybersecurity-aligned designs, infrastructure engineering, and system integration.
  • Participate in design reviews, identify technical risks, and recommend mitigation strategies and alternative solutions.
  • Deliver customer training and provide technical support throughout project delivery and acceptance phases.
  • Lead and coordinate network engineering activities, including task prioritisation, effort estimation, progress tracking, and quality assurance of team deliverables.
  • Support project planning, roadmap development, milestone achievement, change management, and stakeholder communications.
  • Act as the primary technical point of contact for the engineering team and ensure adherence to configuration management and engineering processes.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, engineering best practices, and a collaborative, high-performance team culture.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, security requirements, and health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Support occasional international travel and maintain eligibility for Singapore Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) CAT2 Security Clearance.

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • Professional networking certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in network engineering or infrastructure roles supporting complex, software-centric, real-time systems.
  • Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise network and infrastructure architectures.
  • Strong knowledge of network security principles, standards, and best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco networking technologies and equipment.
  • Strong working knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems, preferably Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
  • Experience with scripting and automation tools (e.g., Shell, Perl, TCL/TK).
  • Demonstrated experience leading small engineering teams and coordinating technical deliverables.
  • Strong problem-solving, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced project environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across multicultural and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in large-scale distributed systems and mission-critical environments is highly desirable, preferably within Air Traffic Management (ATM) or related industries.
  • Familiarity with Agile/SAFe delivery methodologies is an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel internationally on an occasional basis.
