Senior Finacle Application Support Specialist (Production & Enhancements)

Job Summary

The Senior Finacle Application Support Specialist will provide end‑to‑end production support for Finacle applications, including incident analysis, code fixes, SIT/UAT testing, deployment coordination, and continuous service improvement. The role requires strong Finacle CIF module expertise, cross‑team collaboration, and the ability to resolve complex production issues independently.


Key Responsibilities

Finacle Production Support

  • Manage end‑to‑end Finacle production issues, including investigation, diagnosis, solutioning, code fix, and production deployment.
  • Perform incident analysis and root cause identification for Finacle CIF and interface modules.
  • Provide workarounds and permanent fixes for application issues.
  • Conduct SIT testing, UAT planning, test scope preparation, and UAT support for business users.
  • Review vendor design documents, validate fixes, and support deployment preparation.
  • Coordinate source promotion and production implementation activities.

Incident & Problem Management

  • Lead communication for production incidents, SLA breaches, major incidents, and service disruptions.
  • Provide timely status updates to internal leads, stakeholders, and management.
  • Drive recurring issue resolution through structured Incident and Problem Management processes.
  • Ensure compliance with Production Support standards and propose process improvements.

Application Enhancement & Automation

  • Identify performance gaps, operational issues, and process toils across Finacle applications.
  • Implement automation, performance tuning, and operational improvements.
  • Support Finacle customization activities and product configuration enhancements.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

  • Work with infrastructure, development, business users, and external vendors to resolve complex issues.
  • Provide clear and consistent communication across all levels of stakeholders.
  • Support continuous service improvement initiatives to enhance system stability and reliability.

Requirements

Technical Skills

  • Strong hands‑on experience supporting Finacle applications, especially Finacle CIF module and interface-related components.
  • Experience in Finacle customizations, product configurations, and technical analysis.
  • Proficiency in incident analysis, code fixes, SIT/UAT testing, and production deployment processes.
  • Strong understanding of root cause analysis, problem management, and production stability practices.
