We are seeking a Playwright Test Automation Engineer to design, develop, maintain, and execute automated testing solutions across enterprise systems. The role focuses on building and running automated regression suites, supporting automation frameworks, and ensuring quality outcomes across complex application landscapes. You will work closely with cross functional stakeholders to analyse requirements, define test scenarios and data, execute test scripts, and manage defects. The role may also contribute to productivity improvements, including the adoption or enhancement of AI assisted testing tools where applicable.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for UI, API, and integration testing
• Support automation frameworks, including regression execution and automation enablement
• Review existing automation tools, scripts, coverage, and execution effectiveness
• Analyse business and technical requirements to create test scenarios, scripts, and test data
• Identify and coordinate test data requirements with relevant stakeholders
• Execute automated and manual test scripts where required
• Log, track, retest, and validate defects through resolution
• Support testing for enterprise scale or complex systems
• Work in environments where automation tools vary by system or use case
• Contribute to enhancements or integration of productivity and AI assisted testing tools

Job Requirements

• Experience in test automation development, maintenance, and execution using Playwright.
• Hands on experience with multiple automation tools across systems
• Good understanding of software testing life cycle, regression testing, and defect management
• Experience supporting enterprise scale or complex environments
• Strong analytical skills to translate requirements into effective test scenarios
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross functional teams
• Detail oriented, self motivated, and adaptable in dynamic environments
