MicroStrategy Architect

Job Description

Job Summary:

Capgemini is seeking a highly skilled and experienced MicroStrategy (MSTR) Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise-grade BI solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in MSTR architecture and a strong understanding of performance tuning, scalability, and integration with modern data platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architectural Leadership:

  • Design and maintain a strategic roadmap for MSTR implementation, including environment sizing, content migration, platform upgrades, and scalability planning.
  • Lead the design and deployment of MSTR Server architecture ensuring high availability, optimal performance, and scalability.

• Performance & Reliability:

  • Proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and server issues.
  • Optimize server configurations including clustering, load balancing, and tuning.

• Integration & Security:

  • Integrate MSTR with various data sources, identity management systems (LDAP, SSO), and enterprise applications.
  • Implement robust security protocols including data encryption, role-based access control (RBAC), and user authentication.

• Development & Visualization:

  • Lead the development of advanced dashboards and visualizations using MSTR best practices.
  • Establish and enforce development, deployment, and usage standards across the organization.

• Governance & Compliance:

  • Define and implement governance frameworks for data quality, user access, and content lifecycle.
  • Ensure compliance with data security best practices and regulatory requirements.

• Collaboration & Leadership:

  • Work closely with business leaders and stakeholders to translate requirements into effective BI solutions.
  • Mentor junior staff and lead cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact analytics projects.

Job Requirements

• Proven expertise in Power BI, Tableau, and MicroStrategy architecture and administration.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and data modeling.
• Experience with data warehousing platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift) and data integration tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and leadership capabilities.
