The Practice

The Business Technology practice at Capgemini Invent helps organizations navigate complex business and technology transformation. We work with senior executives to translate strategic priorities into practical changes across business models, operations, processes, organization and technology.

For this role, our primary focus is banking, particularly clients and stakeholders operating across Singapore and international markets.

Our team in Southeast Asia is intentionally lean. We work in small, high-performing teams with direct access to client leadership. Managers are expected to combine strategic thinking with hands-on delivery and play an active role in developing client relationships and new business.

What You'll Work On

What You'll Bring

• Minimum 9 years of relevant professional experience, with a strong background in management consulting.
• Consulting experience within the banking sector is mandatory, with a deep understanding of banking businesses, operations and transformation priorities.
• Strong experience in business transformation, IT operating model, process transformation, digital transformation or technology-enabled business transformation within banking.
• A profile weighted toward business and operations rather than pure IT, combined with sufficient technology understanding to advise clients on the business implications of technology decisions.
• Demonstrated ability to develop business as well as deliver consulting engagements, including identifying opportunities, shaping solutions/proposals and building senior client relationships.
• Strong hands-on delivery capability. You are comfortable moving from executive-level conversations to working directly with client teams to solve problems and drive execution.
• Fluent Japanese is mandatory, with the ability to operate confidently in a professional Japanese business environment.
• Fluent professional English is mandatory, with the ability to communicate, present and influence effectively in an international organization.
• Deep understanding of Japanese business culture, including the ability to navigate stakeholder relationships and work effectively with Japanese senior executives and organizations.
• Significant international and cross-cultural experience, with demonstrated ability to operate effectively in both Japanese and Western/international corporate environments.
• Strong executive communication, structured problem solving, storytelling and stakeholder management skills.
• Comfortable operating with ambiguity, taking ownership and working in a lean, entrepreneurial consulting environment.
