IT System / Business Analyst

Responsibilities

  • Engage stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document functional and non-functional requirements;
  • Identify system enhancement opportunities and translating business needs into business requirement documents;
  • Review implementation plans, manage application product backlogs, and collaborate with business stakeholders, external parties, and ICT providers for operational, maintenance, and enhancement activities;
  • Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts such as using Tricentis Tosca for functional and regression testing across frontend, backend, and integration workflows;
  • Validate system enhancements against business expectations, track and manage defects from creation to closure, and ensure project delivery compliance with relevant policies and guidelines; and
  • Provide regular updates on testing/work progress, backlog status, system enhancements, defects, and operational issues to project stakeholder.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience as business analyst or equivalent position, preferably in Agile projects;
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Business/Data Analytics or related discipline is preferred;
  • Good planning, communication and stakeholder management skills to effectively engage internal and external stakeholders to gather and provide project updates across technical and business users;
  • Performing tasks including project coordination & monitoring, asset management, resource tracking, meeting logistics, service/change request processing, records/document management, etc, for projects with vendors and internal teams;
  • Perform requirement gathering, requirement analysis, business process mapping, design thinking, prepare requirement specifications, flow charts, logical diagrams, initiate process improvements and testing;
  • Experienced in driving product development through Agile methodologies, leveraging Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and testing practices to iteratively deliver, validate and enhance product outcome; and
  • Experienced in using automation tools for designing, developing and executing automated test scripts across functional and regression testing.
