Full Stack Engineer (OutSystems)

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor engineers, providing technical guidance and conducting code reviews (for Senior Developer)
  • Design, build, and deploy applications using OutSystems
  • Translate business requirements into automated workflows, forms and process logic, working closely with the cross-functional Scrum team and stakeholders to ensure solutions meet operational needs
  • Take ownership of day-to-day technical decision-making on system architecture, code quality, resilience, security and platform implementation, ensuring alignment with the client’s platform governance standards and system architecture
  • Deliver features through the full sprint cycle
  • Manage deployment lifecycle and performance optimisation
  • Act as technical escalation point for integration, performance, security and platform limitation risks, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive resolution and ensure delivery continuity
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for developed applications, including technical specifications and support materials

Requirements

Must-Have

  • 4+ years OutSystems development (for Developer) or 7+ years OutSystems development and architect experience (for Senior Developer)
  • OutSystems certification (Associate Reactive Developer or higher) (for Developer) or OutSystems certification (OutSystems Expert Developer or higher) (for Senior Developer)
  • Experience in leading a team of engineers in delivering end-to-end digital products
  • Experience in agile-scrum methodology, DevOps practices and end-to-end project lifecycle
  • Experience building government or public sector digital products
  • Experience in integrating legacy systems into a modern platform

 

Preferred

  • Experience in GovTech tech stack
  • Experience in OutSystems-based delivery
  • Experience in handling legacy tech systems
  • Good knowledge of the government ICT policies and standards
  • Experience in integrating applications with AI or machine learning services
