About the role

We are seeking a Full Stack Engineer to develop and support a large-scale document digitization and processing platform. The role involves building web and desktop applications, integrating hardware devices and AI enabled services, and delivering reliable systems that support high volume operational environments.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain web applications, APIs, databases, and background processing services.
  • Build and support desktop applications used for document capture and workflow management.
  • Integrate and support document scanning hardware and related SDKs or device interfaces.
  • Implement AI, OCR, and computer vision capabilities to support template generation, document processing, and data extraction workflows.
  • Design and optimise scalable processing pipelines, job queues, and cloud-based storage solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application, infrastructure, and integration issues across software and hardware environments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Contribute to software quality through automated testing, code reviews, CI/CD, and technical documentation.

Requirements

  • Experience in full stack software development, including frontend development, backend services, APIs, and relational databases.
  • Experience developing desktop applications using technologies such as Electron, .NET, or similar frameworks.
  • Knowledge of hardware or device integration using SDKs, APIs, or driver interfaces.
  • Experience integrating AI, machine learning, OCR, or related cloud services into production applications.
  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, containers, object storage, and distributed application architectures.
  • Understanding of software design principles, concurrency, performance optimisation, and system scalability.
  • Strong problem solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with TypeScript, JavaScript frameworks, C#, or related technologies.
  • Knowledge of image processing, OCR, OMR, or document digitization solutions.
  • Experience working with large scale data processing or high-volume transaction systems.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps practices.
