We work with some of the largest organisations in the world on a variety of transformation engagements, working closely with the C-Suite in shaping and delivering. Capgemini Invent is growing and is seeking to hire a Director / Senior Director for the Consumer Products and Retail industry team, who will be key to shaping and leading our offering in the market.

The focus of your role:

This role sits within our Consumer Products and Retail (CPR) team, you will be responsible for developing senior and trusted relationships with both our existing client base and new clients across the CPR sector. Using the extensive network both within Invent and the broader firm, you will interact directly with clients to share your vision for the digital future of the industry and develop compelling solutions to meet our client’s needs.

You will also be part of a diverse and ambitious team that is growing rapidly and be part of fostering a supportive and energised culture and community. In addition, you will take ownership and lead several focus accounts within our portfolio to both sell and deliver our next generation of consulting services. Specifically, your experience in driving excellent Customer Experiences and Marketing strategies will help create new project opportunities working with client Sales and Marketing teams.  

What you'll do:

Sales:

As a Director/ Senior Director in our Consumer Products and Retail industry team, you will be responsible for building lasting relationships with existing and new clients, through demonstrating sector and sub sector experience. You will aim to bring the best of Capgemini Invent services and thought leadership to that client base, generate opportunities to support our clients deliver what’s next and generate a pipeline of sales .

Thought Leadership:

You will be a central part of a global industry team in envisioning and actioning our go to market strategy to support our ongoing growth ambitions and you will play a key role in expanding and developing our sector team and extended community.

Working with our network of global experts across all Capgemini’s Business Lines (Consulting, Applications, Outsourcing), you will continuously develop new offers and ideas to support our clients. You will innovate and develop new assets, methodologies and services to ensure we remain relevant for our clients.

Sector strategy:

You will develop a sector strategy for the Southeast Asia region, defining our key plays and building financial forecasting for your sector, working together with our Finance Team. You will oversee overall account prioritization, offer focus, recruitment planning, financial planning and reporting for your sector. You will drive this strategy with a good understanding of the broader context of Capgemini Invent in Southeast Asia, APAC and globally.

Team Management:

In Capgemini Invent, we believe that being a good Leader implies to be a good Team Manager. As a Director/ Senior Director in the business, you will help set the direction, driving forward the business, model our values and behaviours, and coach and develop junior members of the team.

What you'll bring:

You will have a wealth of experience in selling and delivering in the Consumer Product and Retail consulting sector with a core capability in one or more areas across the retail value chain. You have a natural curiosity and desire to be ahead of the curve as you continue to develop your expertise and knowledge of the digital journey of our clients and a natural ambition to continually learn and develop your own skills in the space.

We need a combination of digital strategy and delivery experience combined by a passion for solving complex problems as part of a results-driven, supportive team. We expect an entrepreneurial flair and a willingness to take calculated risks, alongside a keen appetite to develop new skills. In addition you’ll have the following:

• A proven track record in consulting new business development
• Strong management consulting experience with proven sales and delivery success
• Extensive knowledge of the SEA market with excellent existing relationships with senior executives in the consumer products and retail industry
• Experience in digital transformation
• Proven ability to be successful in a matrixed organisation, and to enlist support and commitment from peers in selling and delivering consulting solutions.
• Experience of proposition building, scoping and resourcing and in commercial negotiation
• Experience in delivering business and digital transformation projects
