Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with development, operations, and quality teams to understand project requirements and implement DevOps best practices.
  • Design and implement CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery processes across multiple applications.
  • Configure and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform
  • Manage containerized environments using Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
  • Implement monitoring dashboards and logging solutions to ensure system stability and performance optimization while building meaningful alerts for the team.
  • Continuously optimize and improve DevOps workflows to enhance productivity and reduce time-to-market.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to development teams on DevOps tools and practices.
  • Collaborate with security teams to implement and maintain best practices for secure application deployment and infrastructure management.
  • Participate in on-call rotations to provide timely support for production incidents.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role, with a strong understanding of software development lifecycle and DevOps principles.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI/CD.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Javascript.
  • Knowledge of cloud computing platforms, preferably Amazon Web Services(AWS).
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies and container orchestration.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a focus on automation.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with a proactive approach to sharing knowledge and best practices.

 

Good to have qualifications:

  • Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform.
  • Certification in DevOps-related technologies (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Kubernetes Administrator).
  • Familiarity with security best practices for cloud-based environments.
