Capgemini Global Insights & Data business line is a market leader in the data, platform, and analytics across all regions and across many sectors (including financial services, consumer products, manufacturing & life sciences). Our offerings include end-2-end data integration to cloud platform, complete suite of AI engineering capabilities and a category of sector-based advanced analytics / AI solutions.

Role & Responsibility

We are seeking a highly skilled Azure Data Engineer - Cloud with extensive experience in modern data platforms, including Databricks, Snowflake, ELT processes, and big data technologies like Apache Spark.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in Azure, strong programming skills in Java and Python, and a deep understanding of data modeling, data pipelines, and governance.

 

  • Architect and design cloud-based data infrastructure to support analytics, machine learning, and reporting needs.
  • Lead the development and implementation of data pipelines (ELT/ETL) using Databricks, Spark, and other big data technologies.
  • Optimize the use of cloud-native platforms like Snowflake for high-performance data warehousing and analytics.
  • Experience with integration on relevant tools and software such as Terraform, Ansible, SonarQube, Nexus, Gitlab.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable and secure data architectures.
  • Implement data governance practices, ensuring data integrity, security, and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Experience in DevSecOps design and development within the Public Sector with relevant project clearances.
  • Knowledge or understanding of project lifecycle.
  • Build efficient, reliable, and scalable data models and data integration solutions.
  • Knowledge or working experience in public sector is preferred.

Skill & Experience

  • At least 7+ years relevant experiences
  • Bachelor's degree in data science, Analytics, Business, or related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
  • Experience in data architecture and data engineering.
  • Proven expertise in Databricks, Snowflake, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
  • Experience with ELT/ETL pipeline design, data warehousing, and data lakes.
  • Strong programming skills in Python and Java.
  • Hands-on experience with Apache Spark and other big data tools for data processing.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Experience in building scalable data solutions and distributed systems.
  • Familiarity with data governance frameworks, security, and compliance.
