We are seeking a Test Automation Engineer to support the design, development, maintenance, and execution of automated testing solutions across enterprise systems. This role focuses on building and executing automated regression suites, supporting automation frameworks, and ensuring quality outcomes across complex application landscapes.
The position involves close collaboration with cross functional stakeholders to analyse requirements, identify test scenarios and data, execute test scripts, and manage defects. The role may also contribute to productivity improvement initiatives, including the adoption or enhancement of AI assisted testing tools where applicable.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using UI, API, and integration testing tools
Support test automation frameworks, including regression execution and automation enablement
Review existing automation tools, scripts, coverage, and execution effectiveness
Analyse business and technical requirements to identify test scenarios, scripts, and test data
Identify, create, and obtain test data by coordinating with relevant stakeholders
Execute automated and manual test scripts as required
Log, track, retest, and validate defects to ensure resolution and quality closure
Support testing activities for enterprise scale or complex systems
Operate in environments where automation tool selection varies by system or use case
Contribute to enhancements or integration of productivity or AI assisted testing tools where required
Good to Have / Value Add
Leverage automation accelerators or reusable test assets
Recommend and help establish best practices in test automation
Participate in process improvements, efficiency enhancements, or quality initiatives
Contribute to knowledge sharing and capability uplift within the team
Job Requirements
Experience in test automation development, maintenance, and execution
Experience working with multiple automation tools across different systems
Good understanding of software testing life cycle, regression testing, and defect management
Experience supporting enterprise scale or complex application environments
Ability to analyse requirements and translate them into effective automated test scenarios
Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross functional teams
Detail oriented, self motivated, and adaptable in dynamic environments
