About the job you’re considering:

Capgemini is hiring PLM Developers across junior, intermediate and senior bands to build Teamcenter customizations, extensions and integrations on a large, complex PLM modernization for a major Aerospace & Defense OEM, within a blended onshore–offshore team and an AI-Powered software factory.

Your role:

We are hiring against the experience matrix below; senior developers own complex extensions, build agent-ready services and mentor, while junior developers build to design under guidance.

  • AI-POWERED DEVELOPMENT — IMPORTANT: We deliver with an AI-Powered software factory: you use AI-assisted development (AI pair-programming, test generation) and build agent-ready services / APIs where specified, supporting augmented and agentic engineering.
  • ONSHORE–OFFSHORE DELIVERY — IMPORTANT: Development runs in a distributed onshore–offshore team that mirrors the client. You work to shared standards across geographies.
  • DEVELOPMENT: Build Teamcenter customizations and extensions (ITK, SOA, Active Workspace / AWC). Use AI-assisted development (AI pair-programming, test generation) and build agent-ready services / APIs where specified. Implement integrations and migration utilities to technical design.
  • QUALITY & DELIVERY: Write testable, documented code; unit-test and support performance / security validation within CI/CD. Work within the distributed onshore–offshore team to shared standards; senior band owns complex components and mentors.
  • Junior (2–4 yrs): Builds to design under guidance; learns the Teamcenter stack and AI-assisted workflow.
  • Intermediate (4–6 yrs): Delivers components independently; solid ITK / SOA / AWC; uses AI-assisted dev.
  • Senior (7–10+ yrs): Owns complex extensions and agent-ready services; mentors; deep Teamcenter.
