Financial Planning Analyst
About the Role
This position acts as the PMO focal point for the Software Development organization, supporting governance, financial planning, portfolio tracking, reporting, and operational control across multiple global teams.
Responsibilities
- Will act as the PMO focal point for the Software Development area, controlling project management data and supporting the Director through governance, reporting, and portfolio visibility activities;
- Will control project management data supporting and reporting directly to the Director of the Software Development area;
- Roster management for many different teams across the globe;
- Define, coordinate, and execute onboarding and offboarding processes for team members;
- Consolidate status report from different projects;
- Interact with team members from different geographies to validate timesheet reports and expenses;
- Generate and validate invoice reports for different projects;
- Update daily required finance control tools from the company with actuals and forecasts.
Must have
- Excellent English communication skills — both written and spoken — to interact daily with teams in Brazil, the US, and India;]
- Advanced Excel proficiency, including:Data organization and structuring
- Use of Power QueryCreation of dashboards (tables) and visual reports (pivot tables)
- Strong knowledge of LOOKUP functions (e.g., XLOOKUP)
- Building and auditing complex formulas and financial calculations
- Strong analytical and data-driven mindset;
- Advanced knowledge in finance and cost control;
- Fast learner with the ability to quickly absorb internal processes;
- Proactive in improving financial controls and processes within the Software Development area;
- Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple reports and collaborate across teams;
- Capable of managing multiple cost centers and project codes simultaneously.
