About the Role
Program Managers at frog turn ambitious, ambiguous ideas into high-fidelity product prototypes without losing sight of the vision along the way. In this role, you'll lead a fast-moving hardware program end-to-end: from early concept through trial and prototyping builds. You will manage both internal and client-facing dimensions of a program and stay on top of program execution. Embedded full-time in Boulder, CO, you'll sit at the intersection of Industrial Design, Engineering, Manufacturing Operations, and our client's engineering org, translating ambiguity into high-quality product prototypes, one build at a time.

Your Role
Program Execution
- Own the program schedule across concept, prototype, and pilot-build phases, translating strategic and engineering plans into tracked, actionable project phases.
- Manage development and qualification of materials, components, and sub-assemblies for small-volume prototype builds (typically 50–100 units across multiple configurations), packaging tooling and process learnings into documentation that informs future mass-production readiness.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Drive cross-functional alignment across Industrial Design, Product Engineering, Operations, Marketing, and client counterparts to hit cost, schedule, and quality commitments.
- Plan and execute builds and trials with external manufacturing partners — own first-article inspection, qualification testing, and quality gate sign-off.
Risk Management
- Identify schedule, quality, and supply risk early; own mitigation planning and escalation paths before they become critical-path problems.
- Support material sourcing decisions, including sustainability, compliance, and environmental impact considerations.

Qualifications & Experience
Must Have
- Bachelor's degree in a technical or engineering discipline, with 5+ years of hands-on program/project management experience delivering products comprised of multiple materials and high aesthetic quality.
- Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and conflict-resolution skills; able to drive cross-functional alignment without direct authority over the functions involved.
- Knowledge of product development processes as well as a strong understanding of manufacturing processes.
- Willingness to work onsite in Boulder, CO for all scheduled working days.
Nice To Have

- Direct experience managing external manufacturing partners (cut-and-sew, bonding, lamination, knitting/weaving) to on-time, on-cost, on-quality outcomes.
- Prior experience in wearable tech, smart apparel, or consumer accessories programs.
- Understanding of technical issues and CAD/mechanical design, with the ability to engage stakeholders to drive engineering decisions to closure.
- Self-motivated and proactive, with demonstrated creative and critical thinking.
- Comfortable in high-pressure, fast-paced environments; flexible and calm with ambiguity.
