About the job you're considering:

As a Data Engineer at Capgemini, you will play a critical role in building and scaling modern data platforms across AWS cloud ecosystems. You will work extensively with Snowflake and Python-based data pipelines, delivering high-quality, reliable, and performant data solutions. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to enterprise-scale data modernization initiatives.

Your Role:

Build and optimize ETL/ELT data pipelines using Snowflake and PythonDevelop high-performance data transformations using Python, SnowSQL, and related toolsImplement Snowflake ingestion and transformation frameworks, including:
  • Snowpipe
  • Streams and Tasks
  • Performance tuning and optimization
Manage large, complex datasets while ensuring:
  • Data reliability
  • Data quality
  • Reusability and scalability
Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust data engineering solutions Apply best practices for:
  • CI/CD
  • Code versioning
  • Testing and deployment within cloud environments
Ensure adherence to security, governance, and data quality standardsSupport ongoing development, optimization, and maintenance of enterprise data platforms

Your skills and experience:

Strong Snowflake development experience, including:
  • Schema design
  • Data transformations
  • UDFs
  • Query and performance optimization
Advanced SQL skills with experience handling large-scale, distributed datasetsHands-on experience with AWS Cloud servicesExperience with ETL orchestration frameworks (e.g., Redwood, Apache Airflow)Ability to work with complex data models, metadata management, and pipeline debuggingSolid understanding of data lakehouse architectures and modern data engineering patternsWorking knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Git, and DevOps practices
 
 
 

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is:$65,000 to $169,000

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.

The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.

These may include, but are not limited to: Geographic location, Education and qualifications, Certifications and licenses, Relevant experience and skills, Seniority and performance, Market and business consideration, Internal pay equity.

It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
