Job Title: Java Backend Developer
Location: Salt Lake City, Utah
Duration: Full-Time

Summary

We are seeking a Java Backend Developer with up to 4 years of experience to join our team in Salt Lake City, Utah. The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot, with exposure to AWS cloud services and event-driven architectures.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop backend services using Java 8+ and Spring Boot frameworks.
• Implement and support event-driven services on AWS Cloud.
• Design and consume RESTful APIs for scalable integrations.
• Perform backend data operations and write SQL queries for relational databases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Must-Have Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Java (version 8 or above).
• Proficiency in Spring Boot for microservices development.
• Experience with AWS Cloud and event-driven service implementations.
• Solid understanding of REST API development and consumption.
• Working knowledge of SQL for backend data operations.

Salary Transparency Language

The disclosed range represents the lowest to highest salary we, in good faith, believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting, although we may ultimately pay more or less than the disclosed range, and the range may be modified in the future. At Capgemini, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. The base salary range for the tagged location is $ $70000 - $85000/yearly.  
 
This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission. Full time regular employees are eligible for paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees.
