Job Description
The Enterprise Architect (EA) is responsible for defining, designing, and governing enterprise architecture across business, application, data, and technology domains. The role requires strong technical depth and the ability to align technology roadmaps with business strategy. The EA will work with CIO/CTO teams, business leaders, architects, and engineering groups to drive modernization and digital transformation.
Key Responsibilities
1. Architecture Strategy & Governance
- Develop enterprise architecture frameworks, reference models, and long‑term roadmaps.
- Define architecture principles, standards, and reusable patterns.
- Lead architecture governance, design reviews, and compliance.
- Establish integration patterns and architectural guardrails.
2. Solution Architecture Leadership
- Guide solution architects and teams in designing scalable, secure systems.
- Perform solution evaluations and trade‑off analysis.
- Review system designs for cloud integration, security, and modernization.
3. Cloud Integration & Modernization
- Lead cloud adoption and migration strategies (Azure/AWS/GCP).
- Architect microservices, APIs, event‑driven systems, and containerized workloads.
- Modernize legacy applications via re‑platforming or re‑engineering.
- Oversee DevOps, CI/CD, IaC, and automation practices.
4. Data & Security Architecture
- Define enterprise data architecture (MDM, metadata, lineage, governance).
- Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards.
- Modernize data platforms using cloud‑native data lakes, warehouses, and analytics tools.
5. Stakeholder Leadership
- Translate business priorities into architectural roadmaps.
- Communicate architectural decisions and business impact to senior leaders.
- Mentor architects, developers, and analysts.
- Manage vendors and evaluate emerging technologies.
Required Skills & Experience
- 13–14 years of IT experience with 6–8 years in architecture roles.
- Expertise in enterprise, solution, integration, cloud, and data architecture.
Technical Skills
- Cloud: Azure, AWS, GCP
- Integration: APIs, ESB, MQ, Kafka
- Modernization: Microservices, Docker, Kubernetes
- Data: Data lakes, warehouses, ETL/ELT, governance

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is:$110000 to $138059
Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.
The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.

It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.
In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
