Capgemini is seeking a skilled SAP ABAP Technical Consultant to join our team. This role involves developing and enhancing SAP applications using ABAP, OOPS, and Webdynpro, collaborating with functional teams, and staying updated with the latest SAP technologies.
Your Role
- Solid experience in developing OData. (3 or more year of experience)
- Collaborate with functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Develop and enhance custom programs, reports, interfaces, conversions, extensions, and forms (RICEF) using ABAP, OOPS, and ALV.
- Design and implement Webdynpro applications to create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces.
- Utilize SAP enhancement technologies like BADI and User Exits to enhance standard SAP functionalities.
- Conduct performance tuning and optimize ABAP code for efficient system performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, providing expert support during system integrations and upgrades.
- Stay updated with the latest SAP ABAP technologies and recommend innovative solutions for process improvements.
Your Skills and Experience
- Solid experience in developing SAP applications using ABAP Core Data Services and SAP Gateway modelling.
- Solid experience in developing OData.
- expertise in SAP ABAP including OO ABAP, ALV, BDC, and User Exits.
- Lead and execute SAP ABAP development tasks across Supply Chain and Finance modules.
- Collaborate with functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Support integration of SAP with external systems using BAPIs, RFCs, and IDOCs.
- Hands-on experience with Supply Chain and Finance modules.
- Proficiency in Python for scripting and AI feature development.
- Familiarity with Cloudera (Hadoop ecosystem) and OpenShift (container orchestration).
- Exposure to Gen AI technologies and their application in enterprise systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Willingness to relocate or work onsite as required.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work in a collaborative team environment.
