Your Role
As a Mobile Networks Strategy & Architecture Lead under connectivity and network engineering function you will serve as the senior technology leader responsible for defining, shaping, and delivering the technology vision across mobile communications, digital connectivity, and next‑generation network domains.
You will bring deep telecom and mobile network experience, strong architectural capabilities, and an established track record of delivering end‑to‑end solutions to market across multiple vendors and technologies.
In this strategic role, you will guide the technology roadmap, influence the ecosystem, lead large functional organizations, and create compelling value propositions for clients. You will work closely with executive leadership, delivery teams, partners, and customers to drive Capgemini’s growth and strengthen our position as a leading connectivity innovator.
You will be accountable for:
Technology Strategy & Vision:
- Set and evolve the long‑term technology strategy across mobile networks, connectivity, cloud, and digital infrastructure.
- Lead the development of architectures and solutions spanning RAN, Core, Services, Telco Cloud, 5G, and next‑generation connectivity ecosystems.
- Create and promote compelling technology narratives, thought leadership, and differentiated value propositions for clients.
- Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies (AI‑driven operations, automation, Open RAN, 5G SA, edge computing) to shape innovation roadmaps.
Solution Delivery & Execution:
- Oversee the end‑to‑end lifecycle of telecom products and services—from strategy and design through service delivery, testing, deployment, and live operations.
- Ensure solutions are scalable, multi‑vendor compatible, and aligned with business objectives and customer expectations.
- Establish best practices, governance structures, and architectural standards across engineering and delivery teams.
- Drive delivery excellence and operational performance across complex connectivity programs.
Leadership, People & Culture:
- Lead large functional or direct organizations with a focus on building, coaching, and inspiring high‑performing teams.
- Create a unified culture focused on collaboration, innovation, and shared purpose across diverse engineering, delivery, and consulting teams.
- Drive capability development, career paths, and succession planning across the technology organization.
- Act as a trusted advisor to executive leaders and clients, demonstrating strong executive presence and communication.
Industry & Ecosystem Influence:
- Leverage extensive industry networks across operators, vendors, technology partners, and regulators to enhance Capgemini’s market position.
- Represent the organization in client leadership forums, industry events, and strategic partner engagements.
- Build cross‑industry collaborations to shape go‑to‑market propositions and accelerate value creation for customers.
Your Profile
15+ years of proven experience in Mobile Communications and Connectivity.
Strong background delivering telecom products/services to market across: Strategy & Architecture, Design & Engineering Service Delivery and Testing & Live Operations.
Deep knowledge of RAN (Radio Access Networks), Mobile Core (4G/5G), Service Platforms & Integration and Multi‑vendor ecosystems and interoperability
Demonstrated experience leading large engineering or cross‑functional organizations.
Ability to create and communicate compelling technology visions aligned to business strategy.
Strong commercial acumen, with experience shaping new business, client solutions, and technology roadmaps.
Exceptional stakeholder management and executive‑level communication skills.
Strong ecosystem relationships across telecom operators, vendors, and partners.
Experience driving digital transformation in mobile network environments.
Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to identify new growth opportunities.
