MCX Solution Architect (Mission Critical Communications)
Your Role
As a MCX Solution Architect, you will define and lead the end-to-end design and deployment of mission-critical communication platforms for enterprise and industrial environments. You will ensure high availability, low latency, and secure interoperability across devices, networks, and dispatch systems — playing a pivotal role in shaping next-generation connectivity for our global clients.
In this role you will play a key role in:
- Architecting Mission Critical Services solutions (MCPTT/MCVideo/MCData), including QoS, priority and preemption, group communications, and service continuity across complex environments
- Leading end-to-end solution blueprints spanning access network, transport, core, IMS/application layer, dispatch and recording systems, device ecosystems, and integration interfaces
- Driving vendor selection, solution validation, and deployment governance including HLD/LLD documentation, integration planning, cutover strategies, and acceptance testing
- Defining resilience architecture encompassing geo-redundancy, active-active/active-standby configurations, disaster recovery strategy, backup and restore, and observability frameworks
- Establishing security-by-design principles and compliance guardrails for MCX services, covering encryption, identity management, key management, and auditability
- Supporting the test team through ATP phases, defect qualification, and FAT/SAT readiness activities
- Leading technical workshops with key stakeholders, translating complex operational requirements into technical designs and structured delivery backlogs
Your Profile
- Proven track record delivering mission-critical platform design and deployment across MCX, PS-LTE, or critical communications environments, with 15+ years of relevant experience
- Hands-on experience with vendors such as Hytera, Airbus, Motorola Solutions, or TDTech, combined with strong knowledge of 3GPP Mission Critical Services, IMS, VoLTE/VoNR, QoS/QCI/5QI, policy control, and session management
- Demonstrated ability to produce HLD/LLD documentation, test strategies, and operational readiness artefacts, with experience managing multi-vendor technical delivery programmes
- Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to bring together cross-functional teams, drive alignment, and communicate technical strategies clearly at all levels
- Familiarity with Kubernetes/telco cloud, containerised network functions, or CI/CD pipelines for network applications is a plus
- Exposure to ETSI, 3GPP, or GSMA guidelines relevant to mission-critical communications is advantageous
