Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Playwright and API test automation using Postman. The ideal candidate will also have experience with Rest Assured, UFT, and CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions and Jenkins. This role involves working closely with development and product teams to ensure high-quality software delivery in a fast-paced agile environment.
Primary Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright for UI testing.
• Build and execute API test automation using Postman and Rest Assured.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into test cases.
• Perform functional, regression, and integration testing across web and API layers.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with developers to resolve issues.
• Maintain and enhance existing UFT test suites as needed.
• Playwright - hands-on experience with test automation for web applications.
• Postman - advanced API testing and scripting.
• Rest Assured - Java-based API automation.
• UFT (Unified Functional Testing) - experience in maintaining and executing test scripts.
• GitHub Actions - experience in setting up and managing CI workflows.
• Jenkins - pipeline creation, test integration, and automation.
• Strong understanding of RESTful services, JSON/XML, and HTTP protocols.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Familiarity with Git, JIRA, and test management tools.
Preferred Skills
• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript or Java for automation scripting.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter).
• Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, Azure).
• Experience with containerization tools like Docker.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in QA automation with a focus on web and API testing.
• Excellent communications skills.
• Experience working with onsite-offshore model.
• Knowledge in Wealth Management Domain is desirable.

Pay Transparency
Capgemini discloses salary range information in compliance with state and local pay transparency obligations. The disclosed range represents the lowest to highest salary we, in good faith, believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting, although we may ultimately pay more or less than the disclosed range, and the range may be modified in the future. The disclosed range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, geographic location, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, performance, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs. At Capgemini, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. The base salary range for the tagged location is $ 85000- $ 95000 /yearly.
This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission. Full time regular employees are eligible for paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees.
