Test Manager

Job Description

Your Role

As a Senior Project/Test Manager in the Medical Device domain, you will be responsible for leading end-to-end testing, automation, and quality engineering initiatives for regulated medical and life science products. You will oversee project execution, ensure compliance with global medical standards, and drive high‑quality product releases across device, desktop, web, and mobile platforms.

In this role, you will:

• Lead end-to-end delivery of one or more projects in manual testing and/or automation under Fixed Price (FP) ownership.
• Understand medical device domain, product architecture, associated risks, and compliance requirements.
• Create test strategies, master test plans, effort estimates, and schedules to ensure on-time and quality delivery.
• Oversee design reviews and ensure that requirements and specifications are fully testable.
• Drive test coverage, traceability, risk-based testing, and test optimization.
• Manage functional and non-functional testing activities across SDLC/STLC.
• Guide teams in test automation framework design, remote execution, CI/CD integration, and toolchain usage.

Your Profile

Experience

• 10+ years of relevant experience, including minimum 4 years in the Medical Device industry (Mandatory).
• Readiness to work from office, 5 days/week with minimum 9 productive hours (Non‑Negotiable).
• Strong hands-on background in Medical & Life Sciences domain with deep knowledge of:

• • IEC62304
  • ISO13485
  • SOUP/COTS tool validation
  • Design History File (DHF)
• Excellent understanding of SDLC, STLC, V‑Model, and medical device development lifecycle.
• Expertise in managing complex testing projects across devices, desktop, web, and mobile applications.
• Strong experience in:
  • Test automation frameworks
  • Remote test execution
  • CI/CD integration
  • Requirement management, source code repository, defect & test management tools

Tool Knowledge

Hands-on experience with:

• Squish, Selenium, Cucumber, Appium
• Cockpit, DOORS, JIRA, Bugzilla, Microsoft Project (MPP)

Quality & Risk Competencies

• Strong understanding of:
  • Safety risk management
  • FMEA
  • Design mitigations
  • Medical risk standards
