QA Automation Engineer – Selenium & Playwright
Location :- Pune or Mumbai
Experience :- 2–4 years (with minimum 1 year project experience in Playwright)

Your Role
As a QA Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test solutions for UI and APIs. You will actively support the migration of UI automation from Selenium to Playwright and ensure high-quality test coverage for modern web applications.
In this role, you will:
- Develop, execute, and maintain UI automation tests using Selenium WebDriver and Playwright
- Actively contribute to the migration of existing Selenium test suites to Playwright
- Design and implement end-to-end automation tests using Playwright for modern web applications
- Perform API automation testing to validate backend services and integrations
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA team members to understand requirements and test scenarios
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and support defect triage and resolution
- Ensure automation best practices, code reusability, and test stability
- Participate in sprint ceremonies and provide QA inputs during the development lifecycle
Your Profile
- 2–4 years of overall experience in QA Automation Testing
- Mandatory: Minimum 1 year of hands-on Playwright experience in live project work
- Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver for UI automation
- Hands-on experience with Playwright for end-to-end test automation
- Strong experience in API Automation Testing
- Good understanding of automation frameworks, test design, and execution strategies
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines is an added advantage
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative agile environment
Education
- Any full-time degree (Bachelor’s or equivalent)
