Your Role
The Senior Consultant will work on complex projects and programs that align with client expectations and business needs. This role involves coordinating in project operations, working on exciting Telecom consulting opportunities, maintaining stakeholder communication, and handling conflicts. As a Senior consultant at Capgemini Invent you will monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies. They will also establish clear stakeholders’ expectations, develop reporting procedures, and work closely with the clients.
In this role you will play a key role in:
- Experience in participating / leading in customer facing consulting activities in strategy and business/technology consulting role conversant with process improvement, cost optimization, analytics and experience management, telecom technology architecture assessments etc.
- Ability to elicit, capture, analyze and document the business requirements, drive the workshops, understand the as-is process; understand issues with the processes which can be resolved either through technology or process solutions and design detail level-to-be process i.e. order to activate, service fulfilment & assurance, trouble to resolve processes.
- Experience in the role of Functional Business Analyst, System/Process Analyst, Product Owners, Process Designers, Service Designers, Lead Architects, Scrum Master, Delivery Leads, Program Managers & Lead Business Market/Systems Analysis on complex programs
- Experience of Business Engagement, Stakeholder and Supplier Partner Management, Implementing recommendations/solutions and ensuring the client receives the necessary assistance to carry it all out. Experience of coordinating review and sign-off of requirements documentation as per agreed project schedule
Your Profile
- Domain Focus (required) - Experience and good understanding of telecom value chain, markets, key technology as well as business trends, challenges in emerging vis-à-vis mature markets etc. Industry reference Standard Frameworks & Tools Focus (required). Experience in agile transformation and general awareness of industry reference standards such as eTOM (BPF), ITIL, NGOSS, SAFE 5, TOGAF etc. Conversant with BA tools like JIRA/ Rational Rose etc. & Process Modeling tools like Visio/ ARIS/ PEGA/ Case wise etc.
- Functional Domain Focus (required) - Good understanding of various business, technology as well as operational solutions in functional domains such as Overall Digital and Cloud B/OSS (Service Fulfillment and Assurance) transformation, Intelligent Order Management, Customer Interaction management (CIM) & CRM, Order Management (COM/SOM), Product lifecycle Management/EPC, Field Force Management, Service Assurance, OSS/Network Inventory & Billing
- Business Process Focus (desired) - Understanding and having ability to design business processes across specific or entire value chain of telecom industry vertical: L2C (Lead to Cash or Service Fulfillment) / T2R (Trouble to Resolve or Service Assurance) / C2M (Concept to Market). Digital, New IT, Cloud transformation, restructuring legacy IT / Tech stack, Agile transformation, RPA.
- Strong communication, articulation, and presentation skills. Proven ability to deal with ambiguity and carve out meaningful resolutions. Ability to contribute/conceptualize/drive business change on complex programs. Experience of providing Sales support - working with global sales team to identify and win potential opportunities within the C&M domain, responding to RFPs, writing proposals. Contribute to offering and asset development. Readiness for international travel based on project requirements (0-100%). Direct client facing experience is mandatory and international onsite experience is an advantage. Excellent teamwork and ability to work in distributed delivery environment
