Solution Architect - Data Historian & Distributed SCADA

Location: PAN India
Experience: 12–15 Years

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect - Data Historian & Distributed SCADA with strong expertise in AspenTech Historian and Distributed SCADA solutions. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in architecting, implementing, and supporting enterprise-wide historian and shopfloor data solutions across manufacturing, energy, utilities, and process industries.

Mandatory: MES/Shopfloor implementation experience and Pre-sales/Solutioning experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define enterprise and site-level AspenTech Historian & Distributed SCADA architecture, standards, governance, and roadmaps.
  • Design data acquisition, buffering, compression, replication, contextualization, archival, retention, and visualization strategies.
  • Architect integrations with PLCs, DCS, SCADA, OPC Servers, MES, ERP, Maintenance, Laboratory, Energy, Reporting, and Analytics platforms.
  • Establish high availability, disaster recovery, OT cybersecurity, network segmentation, and remote connectivity frameworks.
  • Lead assessment, sizing, design, installation, migration, testing, commissioning, deployment, and hypercare activities.
  • Drive data quality, performance monitoring, backup, access governance, and production support initiatives.
  • Collaborate with business, IT, OT, engineering, operations, quality, and vendor teams.
  • Support RFP/RFI responses, effort estimation, solution architecture, customer workshops, technical presentations, and PoCs.

Ideal Candidate

  • 12–15 years of experience in Manufacturing, Energy, Utilities, or Process Industries.
  • Proven ownership of end-to-end MES, Historian, Automation, or Shopfloor implementations.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Experience leading workshops, design reviews, testing, cutover, production stabilization, and global rollouts.
