Job Description

Capgemini is seeking a Director/Sr Director level executive to Payment Technical Architect.

This person will have minimum 15+  years of experience working in an IT Organization as part of a Payments group in the role of Lead Payments technical SME / Lead Technical Architect. Must have experiences in multi-country implementation of leading Payments Product at large banks.

Additional Responsibilities Include:

• Architect and Design: Lead the design and development of scalable, high-performance enterprise applications for banking and financial clients.
• Microservices Development: Design, implement, and manage microservices architecture to support business needs, ensuring scalability, flexibility, and resilience.
• Messaging Systems Integration: Integrate messaging platforms like Kafka, TIBCO JMS, or RabbitMQ for real-time data processing and event-driven systems.
• Compliance and KYC: Work on compliance-related solutions, including KYC (Know Your Customer) processes and other regulatory requirements.
• SDLC Management: Oversee project execution using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.

Strong customer orientation, decision making, problem solving, communication and presentation skills

• Highly skilled and experienced Java J2EE Architect with 15+ years of expertise in designing and developing scalable, enterprise-level solutions within the banking domain. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Core Java, Spring frameworks, microservices architecture, and messaging systems like Kafka, TIBCO JMS, or RabbitMQ. 
• Mandatory exposure to SWIFT & ISO 20022 Message Processing
• Should have a fare understanding of Clearing & Settlement Systems (e.g. RTGS / ACH / RTP / CHAPS / FEDWIRE / CHIPS)
• Exposure to Corporate Internet Banking & Direct Channels (Host2Host file transfers), Mobile banking, PSD2, Open Banking, Payments Service Provider (PSP), Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) etc
