Your Role

The Insurance Business Analyst will work with business and technical teams to gather, analyse,

and document requirements for insurance projects. The role involves driving operational and

technological improvements by leveraging domain expertise in P&C, Life, and Health

Insurance, ensuring seamless integration of business solutions with existing systems and

processes.

As an Insurance Business analyst, you will be involved in:

• Leading requirement gathering sessions through methods like stakeholder interviews,

workshops, and surveys to capture functional, non-functional, and technical

requirements, ensuring alignment with business needs, user pain points, and strategic

objectives.

• Translating complex business needs into functional specifications, ensuring clear

communication between business stakeholders and technical teams for seamless solution

delivery.

• Facilitating Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog refinement, and

Your Profile

• 5 to 10 years of Experience on Digital Transformation/ Business Analysis/ Process

Consulting

• Master’s degree in business administration.

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst on insurance domain projects, with a deep

understanding of industry processes, regulations, and technology applications specific to

P&C Insurance, Life Insurance, Health Insurance, Commercial Insurance, or

Personal Insurance.

• Experience in driving process optimization, process improvement initiatives, and

standardizing workflows to enhance efficiency and ensure consistency across insurance

operations.

• Strong expertise in at least two or more areas of insurance: Life Insurance, Health

Insurance, Property & Casualty Insurance, Claims Management, Underwriting, and

Risk Management.

• Good experience in working in SDLC and AGILE program management methods.

• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

• Strong JIRA/Azure Devops, MS Office skills, particularly PowerPoint, Excel and Word.

• Strong facilitation skills; experience conducting and leading requirements gathering

sessions.
