IT Disaster Recovery Consultant

Your Role

• Develop, implement, and enhance IT Disaster Recovery processes, procedures, and documentation.
• Lead and coordinate end‑to‑end DR planning, including strategy development, scope definition, scheduling, and communication.
• Conduct DR tests, manage test cycles, facilitate technical team preparation, and oversee execution and post‑test reporting.
• Communicate proactively with business owners, technical teams, and stakeholders on DR activities, business impacts, risks, and remediation plans.
• Prepare and deliver monthly DR reports, annual DR summaries, audit documentation, and responses to audit queries.
• Work closely with Customers, Delivery Managers, and Resolver Teams to determine priorities, requirements, timelines, and necessary resources.

Your Profile

• 8 to 11years of experience working with ITSM processes, especially in Disaster Recovery (DR) planning, execution, and governance.
• Proven ability to develop, apply, and improve DR processes, documentation, and compliance requirements.
• Hands‑on experience coordinating with Customers, Delivery Managers, Resolver Teams, and technical support groups.
• Skilled in conducting DR audits, data analysis, and configuration reviews to ensure consistency, accuracy, and DR readiness.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of interacting with business owners, technical teams, auditors, and leadership.
• Ability to prepare monthly and annual DR reports, manage audit responses, and lead discussions during audit meetings.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify risks, dependencies, and areas for improvement in DR workflows.
