Embedded Software Engineer
Your Role
As an Embedded Software Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and enhancing embedded software solutions for next-generation products and systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including hardware, firmware, validation, and product engineering teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and reliable embedded solutions.
This role requires strong expertise in Embedded C/C++, Python, microprocessor and microcontroller-based systems, communication protocols, and hardware-software integration. Experience with HMI development and product lifecycle processes will be an added advantage.
In this role, you will:
- Design, develop, test, and maintain embedded software and firmware applications.
- Develop solutions using Embedded C/C++ and Python for embedded devices and systems.
- Work with Microprocessors, Microcontrollers, and embedded hardware platforms.
- Implement and troubleshoot communication protocols including CAN, I2C, SPI, and RS232.
- Develop and integrate applications on Raspberry Pi platforms.
- Support hardware bring-up, debugging, system integration, and performance optimization activities.
- Collaborate with hardware, software, and validation teams to ensure seamless product development.
- Participate in software design reviews, code reviews, technical discussions, and root cause analysis.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, design specifications, and test procedures.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for embedded development practices and product quality.
- Support HMI development activities and work within established CCB (Change Control Board) processes.
Your Profile
- Strong expertise in Embedded C/C++ programming.
- Hands-on experience with Python development and scripting.
- Experience working with Microprocessors and Microcontrollers.
- Strong understanding of embedded systems architecture and real-time software development.
- Hands-on experience with communication protocols:
- CAN
- I2C
- SPI
- RS232
- Experience with Raspberry Pi development and integration.
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills for hardware-software interactions.
- Understanding of firmware development lifecycle and embedded application testing.
- Experience with HMI (Human Machine Interface) development.
- Familiarity with CCB (Change Control Board) processes and configuration management.
- Knowledge of version control systems and software release processes.
