JD:

A ColdFusion Developer designs, develops, and maintains dynamic web applications using Adobbe coldFusion, ensuring secure and efficient backend functionality. Key responsibilities include database integration (SQL), API development, and frontend collaboration (HTML/CSS/JS) to build scalable, high-performance applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Application Development: Design, code, and enhance web applications using CFML, often leveraging frameworks like ColdBox, Fusebox, or FW/1.
  • Database Management: Create and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers for MS SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL.
  • API Integration: Develop and maintain RESTful services and third-party API integrations.
  • Maintenance & Debugging: Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing applications to ensure performance and security compliance.
  • Collaboration: Work with UI/UX designers, business analysts, and project managers in an Agile environment. 

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Core Technologies: Strong proficiency in Adobe ColdFusion (version 11+), CFML, and SQL.
  • Frontend Technologies: Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and AJAX.
  • Frameworks & Tools: Experience with ColdBox, FW/1, Git version control, and IIS.
  • Security: Knowledge of OWASP guidelines and secure coding practices.
  • Experience: Typically 3-5 years for mid-level; 8+ years for senior roles.
