Job Description - Primary skills

 Cloud and Digital Transformation Technical Lead

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Experience:
    • 10+ years in software development, cloud / digital engineering, or similar roles.
    • 5+ years of experience in a technical leadership role, ideally within a cloud-native or digital transformation setting.
  • Cloud Platforms: Deep experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including IaaS, PaaS, serverless, and containerization (Kubernetes, Docker).
  • Software Development: Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript. Hands-on experience with frameworks and tools like Spring Boot, Node.js, .NET Core, or Angular/React.
  • Microservices and APIs: Strong knowledge of micro-services architecture, RESTful APIs, and integration strategies.
  • DevOps and CI/CD: Expertise with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation), and automated testing.
  • Security Best Practices: Experience implementing security best practices, including data encryption, identity management, and application security.
  • Agile Methodologies: Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments, with a strong understanding of agile principles and practices.

 

Secondary skills

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience with machine learning, AI, or data engineering in a cloud environment.
  • Certifications in cloud platforms, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect.
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and data integration tools (Apache Kafka, AWS Glue).
  • Familiarity with IoT architecture, blockchain fundamentals, or edge computing solutions.
