Job Description - Primary skills
Cloud and Digital Transformation Technical Lead
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Experience:
- 10+ years in software development, cloud / digital engineering, or similar roles.
- 5+ years of experience in a technical leadership role, ideally within a cloud-native or digital transformation setting.
- Cloud Platforms: Deep experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including IaaS, PaaS, serverless, and containerization (Kubernetes, Docker).
- Software Development: Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript. Hands-on experience with frameworks and tools like Spring Boot, Node.js, .NET Core, or Angular/React.
- Microservices and APIs: Strong knowledge of micro-services architecture, RESTful APIs, and integration strategies.
- DevOps and CI/CD: Expertise with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation), and automated testing.
- Security Best Practices: Experience implementing security best practices, including data encryption, identity management, and application security.
- Agile Methodologies: Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments, with a strong understanding of agile principles and practices.
Secondary skills
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- Experience with machine learning, AI, or data engineering in a cloud environment.
- Certifications in cloud platforms, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect.
- Knowledge of data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and data integration tools (Apache Kafka, AWS Glue).
- Familiarity with IoT architecture, blockchain fundamentals, or edge computing solutions.
